Successful completion of PeopleSoft Conversion for NYSTRS.
Empower Solutions, in partnership with Indotronix International Corp, recently completed the conversion of PeopleSoft Cobol programs to SQR, Query, Application Engine and other technologies using its world class onsite/offsite delivery model. The approach, which included a joint team comprised of experienced consultants at the client site and at the development center, enabled the Teachers’ Retirement System to save significant time and money in the critical conversion of over 100 programs.

Empower Solutions renews maintenance contracts.
Empower Solutions recently inked several maintenance contracts with clients in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. The projects call for delivery of onsite support, end user training, application of service packs and functional deployments..

Successful Completion of PeopleSoft Upgrade at Placer County, CA.
Empower Solutions was contracted by Placer County to upgrade their PeopleSoft HCM application over the course of a six month project. The scope of the Placer County project included the upgrade of PeopleSoft HCM, Payroll, Time and Labor, and Benefits Administration to the latest version; 9.0. The project went live successfully in June 2008 on-time and on-budget. The Payroll and Time and Labor modules include approximately 5,000 employees including the Sherriff’s and other departments with complex labor agreements. Shortly after go-live, the system was put through a thorough production load as it served employees successfully for Open Enrollment. In addition to the PeopleSoft application upgrade, a PeopleTools upgrade was also performed along with bringing the application up to date with patches and fixes. Although the Placer County was an application upgrade, the functional consulting team performed the full lifecycle methodology of Empower Solutions; EmpowerUP. This involved interviewing the functional departments to gather information on the existing business processes, conducting a Fit/Gap analysis and conference room pilots, configuring the application and performing custom development, conducting thorough system test and parallel test iterations, change management and post go-live support.

Empower Selected for PeopleSoft Implementation at the City of Glendale, AZ
Empower Solutions was recently contracted to implement PeopleSoft HCM modules, improve business processes, and perform other technical work at the City of Glendale, Arizona. As part of the competitive bid process, the Empower team demonstrated superior skills, relevant experience and the best value. The project includes the implementation of the latest release of Time and Labor as well as customized training development and delivery for the client personnel.

Large UK based Nursing Home provider EPM integration
Empower Solutions is currently helping this large nursing home conglomerate build a custom bolt-on to the eProcurement application. This company operates around 300 care homes in UK. These care homes are using PeopleSoft eProcurement to order all of their supplies. As delivered, the process for creating and ordering essentially the same items multiple times per week is cumbersome. Empower Solutions customized the shopping cart functionality to store pre-selected items in the shopping cart to more quickly create requisitions.
