    Job Title: PeopleSoft Payroll Functional Consultant

    Main Purpose
    The Peoplesoft Payroll Functional Consultant will perform PeopleSoft payroll functional consulting services to public sector organizations, including K-12 school districts, and state and local government clients.

    Job Functions

    • Analyze payroll-related business functions, configure PeopleSoft payroll applications, perform business tests of the related configuration, and train clients how to be self-sufficient with the new application.
    • Prioritize and oversee activities of others to meet deadlines and quality standards.
    • Directly supervise or coordinate the work of other team members.
    • Manage individually assigned tasks to completion while providing consistent and timely status to the team lead.
    • Coach junior team members and foster an active learning environment.
    • Provide advice on methodology, procedures, functionality, and work methods to colleagues.
    • Establish good rapport and nurture lasting relationship with the client.

    Required Qualifications for a Consultant

    • Minimum of at least 2 years of PeopleSoft experience, particularly Payroll modules
    • Experience with at least one PeopleSoft v8.0 (or higher) implementation
    • Minimum of at least 2 years of payroll processing experience
    • Willingness to travel

    Desirable Qualifications, Skills or Experience

    • PeopleSoft Certified Consultant
    • APA, SHRM, CPP or equivalent HR, Payroll or Benefits certification
    • Prior consulting experience, particularly Big 5
    • Prior public sector experience
    • Experience with other major ERP packages (PeopleSoft, Oracle, JD Edwards, etc.)
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
    • Spanish language fluency
    • Project Management experience
